Portfolio Family house

TWO-GENERATIONAL VILLA ŘÍČANY

In symbiosis with nature

The concept of the house was created in several variants. These included various factors, including the demanding requirements of the client, the possibilities of the land plan and the existence of an old linden tree in the northern corner of the plot. The building consists of 4 main objects: on the ground floor there is a garage, a public part of the house and a private bedroom of the owner with wellness; the first floor is primarily intended for the children. The interior is as close as possible to the surrounding greenery. All rooms have a direct access to the terrace or offer a view of the linden shade while its appearance varies with seasons. Stone, wood, black tiles and glass were used for the façade. The natural stone on the façade penetrating from the exterior to the living space is an interesting feature.

FAMILY HOUSE MIŠKOVICE

Low energy minimalism

The family house was designed to meet the needs of a young family in the terms of size, comfort and architectural design. A simple and logical layout of the rooms corresponds also to the minimalist appearance. A glazed south wall brings enough daylight to the building. The low energy status of the house is ensured by modern thermal insulation materials, recuperation and alternative energy sources.

HOUSE GARDEN VIEW

The house is minimalistic, even ascetic. The large glazed areas illuminate the living spaces. A pergola from glued wooden profiles is anchored in the facade and underlines the shape simplicity of the building. A children’s sandbox included next to the terrace catches one’s attention.

INNER ARRANGEMENT
AND TERRACE

The basis of the house is a simple and logical layout. A central broad corridor forms the supporting element of the building. It runs through the house and offers a view from the entrance to the large terrace. A storage space found its place there and it can be also used as a children’s play area.
